Main access highways: Leaving São Paulo city you will have two options. One is taking Presidente Dutra highway or Ayrton Senna/Carvalho highway Pinto up to São José dos Campos, following along Tamoios highway up to Caraguatatuba and Rio-Santos highway (toward Rio de Janeiro) up to Ubatuba. The other way is by means of Presidente Dutra or Ayrton Senna/Carvalho Pinto highway up to Taubaté, following along Osvaldo Cruz highway straight to Ubatuba.
